Lettris
Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

ÉGALISER (v. a.)
1. Rendre égal, de même valeur, en parlant des choses. Égaliser les lots dans un partage. L'amour égalise les conditions.
2. Égaliser un terrain, le rendre uni.
3. Égaliser la poudre, la mettre en grains et la tamiser.
Égaliser les cheveux, les couper d'égale longueur.
4. S'égaliser, v. réfl. Devenir égal. En procédant ainsi, les lots s'égaliseront.
REMARQUE
Voltaire blâmait égaliser comme inutile à côté d'égaler. Mais, malgré l'opposition de Voltaire, ce mot est admis aujourd'hui.
SYNONYME
ÉGALER, ÉGALISER. Ces deux verbes, identiques d'ailleurs, ne diffèrent que par l'affixe composé iser, qui, dans les verbes actifs, a le même sens à peu près que l'affixe simple er. Aussi l'usage n'a-t-il établi d'autre nuance que celle-ci : c'est que, dans le sens de rendre égal ou rendre uni, égaliser est plus usité qu'égaler.
