Lettris

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

渡り鳥

渡り鳥（わたりどり）は食糧、環境などの事情に応じて長い距離を移動（渡り）する鳥のこと。

なかにはキョクアジサシ（北極圏ツンドラ地帯←→南極周辺海域・約32000㎞）や、ハシボソミズナギドリ（オーストラリアから北太平洋を右回りしオーストラリアへ戻る・約32000㎞）など、非常に長い渡りをおこなう鳥がいる。移動の際の進路は、太陽や星の配置、地磁気、地形などから決めているとみられる。

鳥の渡り(英語：Bird migration)の解明は、鳥類学の研究テーマのひとつである。

いろいろな渡り鳥

日本を基準とした場合、以下のような呼び名がある。

夏鳥

日本で夏を過ごす鳥で、ふつう日本で繁殖をおこなう。ツバメ、アマサギ、オオルリ、キビタキ、クロツグミ、ハチクマ、サシバなど。（詳細：category:日本の夏鳥）
冬鳥

日本で冬を過ごす鳥。ツグミ、ジョウビタキ、ユリカモメ、マガモ、オオハクチョウ、マナヅル、オオワシなど。（詳細：category:日本の冬鳥）
旅鳥
