Lettris

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

Ampélographie

L’ampélographie est la discipline étudiant la vigne et plus particulièrement ses espèces et variétés, les cépages.

Le terme est formé sur le grec ampelos, la vigne.

Son objet principal est la description morphologique des cépages par les bourgeonnements (apex), les rameaux herbacés, les feuilles adultes, les grappes, les sarments, etc. Pour pouvoir les identifier, l'OIV (Organisation internationale de la vigne et du vin) a relevé 88 descripteurs sur ces différents organes. Les mêmes cépages sont en effet souvent connus localement sous des noms différents et il importe de reconnaître tous les synonymes. On compte aujourd'hui dans le monde environ 5000 cépages cultivés qui, avec les traductions, peuvent porter pas moins de 40 000 noms.

Le "temple" de l'Ampélographie mondiale est situé au Domaine de Vassal dans l'Hérault où sont étudiés et caractérisés plus de 5000 cépages.
