André Cauvin, réalisateur de cinéma belge né à Ixelles, le 12 février 1907 et décédé le 2 avril 2004, est considéré comme l'un des piliers du cinéma colonial belge. Il tournera plusieurs documentaire et en 1955 Bwana Kitoko (Noble Seigneur) où André Cauvin a suivi le parcours d'un jeune roi Baudouin (Bwana Kitoko signifiant le beau jeune homme en langue swahili) au Congo belge.

À partir de 1948, Fernand Rigot de la Cinémathèque royale de Belgique lui fait des commandes de films documentaires tout comme à Charles Dekeukeleire, Paul Haesaerts, Gérard De Boe.

Tantôt défenseur des traditions ancestrales, magnifiant la beauté de la terre africaine, tantôt propagandiste de la modernité occidentale, au service du gouvernement belge, Cauvin hésitera toute sa vie entre deux approches totalement antagonistes de la colonie[1].

Lettris

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.
