Bandera del Estado Anzoátegui
"Bandera del estado Anzoategui, publicado por decreto el 16 de junio de 1949.".
La Bandera de Anzoatégui, es la Bandera oficial Regional o estadal de esa entidad federal ubicada en el oriente de Venezuela.
Significado
El diseño de la bandera del Estado Anzoátegui según consta en decreto nº 138 del Ejecutivo regional firmado por el entonces gobernador Alexis Rosas el 16 de junio de 1999, tiene tres franjas horizontales de igual tamaño. Una azul en representación de los cielos, mares y ríos, Una amarilla que indica la calidez del clima y su gente. Una verde por todas las riquezas de la naturaleza y en el centro de las tres franjas, esta insertada la silueta del Estado Anzoátegui, en marco negro, que simboliza las riquezas petroleras del subsuelo.
Historia
El diseño de la bandera fue dado a conocer el 19 de mayo de 1999, luego que se convocara un concurso público para el mismo, resultando ganadora la propuesta de Lemarys del Valle Rincones. Su diseño fue oficialmente publicado, por decreto del ejecutivo regional, el 16 de junio de 1999.
