WordGame

The English word games are:
○   Anagrams
○   Wildcard, crossword
○   Lettris
○   Boggle.

Lettris

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

boggle

Boggle gives you 3 minutes to find as many words (3 letters or more) as you can in a grid of 16 letters. You can also try the grid of 16 letters. Letters must be adjacent and longer words score better. See if you can get into the grid Hall of Fame !

DIY Network is a Canadian English language category 2 digital cable specialty channel with programming focusing on do it yourself projects; including gardening, renovations and more. The channel is a joint venture between CW Media (a division of Canwest and GS Capital Partners), Corus Entertainment and Scripps Networks Interactive.

The channel launched on October 19, 2009.[1]

History

Alliance Atlantis was originally granted approval for the channel by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) on November 24, 2000 as D.I.Y. Television.[2] The channel, however, was never launched and its application eventually expired at later date. Alliance Atlantis re-applied for the channel and was approved on October 21, 2005.[3]

On January 18, 2008, a joint venture between Canwest and GS Capital Partners bought Alliance Atlantis's specialty networks, including the licence for the yet unlaunched D.I.Y. Television.

In late 2009, Canwest announced that it would launch the channel on October 19, 2009, as a Canadian version of DIY Network. On many BDUs it replaced Fine Living, which shut down the same day. [4]
