Le elezioni del 2009 per il Parlamento europeo si sono tenute in Germania il 7 giugno. I seggi spettanti alla Germania sono 99, il massimo numero di tutta l'Unione. Questo numero che dovrebbe scendere a 96 con il trattato di Lisbona, resterà identico fino al 2014.

Il sistema elettorale è il metodo Hare-Niemeyer con liste bloccate e clausola di sbarramento pari al 5% dei voti validi. La CDU e la CSU usano presentare i loro candidati a livello regionale, in modo da rispettare i reciproci territori tradizionali di attivismo.

Lettris

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.
