WordGame

The English word games are:
○   Anagrams
○   Wildcard, crossword
○   Lettris
○   Boggle.

Lettris

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

boggle

Boggle gives you 3 minutes to find as many words (3 letters or more) as you can in a grid of 16 letters. You can also try the grid of 16 letters. Letters must be adjacent and longer words score better. See if you can get into the grid Hall of Fame !

Expo 2010 logo

Expo 2010 (simplified Chinese: 2010上海世界博览会) will be held in Shanghai, China and is a scheduled World Expo in the tradition of international fairs and expositions. The theme of the exposition will be "Better City – Better Life" and signifies Shanghai's new status in the 21st century as a major economic and cultural center. It is expected to generate the largest number of visitors in the history of the world's fairs in terms of gross numbers. The expo Logo features the Chinese character 世 'world' modified to represent three people together with the 2010 date.

The Expo will take place from May 1–October 31, 2010. The Shanghai 2010 Expo will feature a highly sophisticated online version called Expo Shanghai Online operated by Tencent Holdings Ltd.

Infrastructure preparations

The site of the event is the Nanpu Bridge-Lupu Bridge region in the center of Shanghai along both sides of the Huangpu River. The area of the Expo 2010 covers 5.28 km².

Massive construction of new metro lines have been undertaken for years in order to serve the traffic demands of the event. Shanghai Metro Lines 7, 13 are all under construction and will connect the expo site directly with the other parts of the city. Lines 2 East Extension, 9 Phase II, 10 and 11 Phase I will also be opened before the event.[1]

As for intercity traffic, officials in Beijing announced plans on March 6, 2006, to begin construction of a second commercial maglev train system in Shanghai by the end of 2006. The planned Shanghai-Hangzhou Maglev Train would have connected Hangzhou as a west extension of the existing line and was planned for completion in time for Expo 2010.[2] However, after massive public protest and the fall of the project's champion, Chen Liangyu, to corruption charges, the project was put on indefinite hold by the Chinese government in May 2007 to study "electromagnetic radiation concerns".[3]
