It's Alive is a live album by the American punk band the Ramones. It was recorded at the Rainbow Theatre, London, on December 31, 1977, and released in April 1979. The title is a reference to the 1974 horror movie of the same name. The album was originally released as a 2-LP set and draws material from the Ramones' first three albums. Four concerts during the U.K. tour were recorded, but the New Year's Eve performance was chosen because ten rows of seats were thrown at the stage after the concert and it was considered the best of the performances at the venue. The concert was also filmed and later released in a truncated form on the DVD It's Alive 1974-1996. The footage, along with a later interview with Marky Ramone, revealed that in the album the bass, the guitar and the vocals were completely rerecorded in the studio. The drums however, were unchanged.[1]

The album was certified gold in Argentina (more than 30.000 copies sold) in 1993.

The album is considered one of the best live albums in the history of rock.

The English word games are:
○   Anagrams
○   Wildcard, crossword
○   Lettris
○   Boggle.

Lettris

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

boggle

Boggle gives you 3 minutes to find as many words (3 letters or more) as you can in a grid of 16 letters. You can also try the grid of 16 letters. Letters must be adjacent and longer words score better. See if you can get into the grid Hall of Fame !
