Limestone Township is one of seventeen townships in Kankakee County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 4,659[1]. Limestone Township is one of the six original townships in the county.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Limestone Township covers an area of 41.36 square miles (107.13 square kilometers); of this, 40.31 square miles (104.4 square kilometers, 97.45 percent) is land and 1.05 square miles (2.73 square kilometers, 2.55 percent) is water.
