Real Radio Yorkshire is an independent local radio station that broadcasts across South and West Yorkshire, England. It is the third regional radio station within the Real Radio brand, the first being in South Wales.

The station plays music from the past 25 years to the present day with a target audience of the 30 something adult.[1]

The station transmits from Emley Moor on 106.2 MHz FM, which covers the majority of South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire, including Leeds, York, Doncaster, Huddersfield and Rotherham. It also broadcasts from Idle on 107.6 MHz FM to Bradford and Halifax, and on 107.7 MHz FM from Tapton Hill to Sheffield.

On 25 June 2012 it was announced Global Radio (the owner of stations such as Capital and Heart) had bought GMG Radio. The former GMG stations, including Real Radio, will continue to operate separately until a regulatory review is carried out.[2][3]

Real Radio's managing director is Steve South.

Lettris

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

boggle

Boggle gives you 3 minutes to find as many words (3 letters or more) as you can in a grid of 16 letters. You can also try the grid of 16 letters. Letters must be adjacent and longer words score better. See if you can get into the grid Hall of Fame !
