WordGame

The English word games are:
○   Anagrams
○   Wildcard, crossword
○   Lettris
○   Boggle.

Lettris

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

boggle

Boggle gives you 3 minutes to find as many words (3 letters or more) as you can in a grid of 16 letters. You can also try the grid of 16 letters. Letters must be adjacent and longer words score better. See if you can get into the grid Hall of Fame !

Sgt. Rock (Amalgam Comics)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jump to: navigation, search

Sgt. Joe Rock was an Amalgam Comics character who first appeared in 1996 as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., though sources say that he first appeared in Action and Suspense Comics during World War I in a comic-book era known as the Pulp Age.

During this time, the Amalgam Comics equivalent of the Howling Commandos (which Sgt. Rock commanded, rather than Nick Fury), the Commandos had a commissioned officer named Captain Wayne, but there is no known connection to the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, Bruce Wayne. Captain Wayne was supposedly killed in Action and Suspense #47.

Sgt. Joe Rock was the leader of the Howling Commandos during World War I, then as a young soldier, and later re-appeared during World War II alongside Super-Soldier. Rock saved his anger for the Nazis, and was very friendly to his fellow troops, including Corporal Clark Kent-a/k/a Super-Soldier.

After the war, Rock briefly retired before becoming a member of S.H.I.E.L.D. alongside Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark. He is a combination of Nick Fury of Marvel Comics and Sgt. Rock of DC Comics.
