Slovak Television (STV; Slovenská televízia in Slovak) is a state-owned public television network in Slovakia. It was created in 1991 from the Slovak part of the former Czechoslovak Television (established in 1956). STV is funded from a combination of television licence fees, advertising, and government funding.

Currently there are two channels: Jednotka ("One") and Dvojka ("Two") (called STV1 and STV2 before the name change in 2004). Trojka ("Three"), a sports channel, launched in 2008 ended its broadcasting on 30th June 2011. These channels cover the entire territory of Slovakia.

Broadcasting is on a 24-hour basis. Between 1987 and 1994, it was currently from 06:00 to 01:30.

From January 2011, STV is part of Rozhlas a televízia Slovenska (RTVS) together with Slovenský rozhlas.

Lettris

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

boggle

Boggle gives you 3 minutes to find as many words (3 letters or more) as you can in a grid of 16 letters. You can also try the grid of 16 letters. Letters must be adjacent and longer words score better. See if you can get into the grid Hall of Fame !
