WordGame

The English word games are:
○   Anagrams
○   Wildcard, crossword
○   Lettris
○   Boggle.

Lettris

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

boggle

Boggle gives you 3 minutes to find as many words (3 letters or more) as you can in a grid of 16 letters. You can also try the grid of 16 letters. Letters must be adjacent and longer words score better. See if you can get into the grid Hall of Fame !

St Peter le Poer was a church in the City of London. It first mentioned in 1181 when it was situated on the west side of Old Broad Street[1]. Stow [2] refers to it as a “poor parish” although modern scholars dispute this[3]. Renovated between 1629 and 1631, it escaped destruction in the Great Fire[4] but was rebuilt further back from the streetby Jesse Gibson in 1792[5]. As late as 1884 it received a new Henry Willis organ[6] but, as the the City’s resident population declined, it was deemed surplus to requirements utilising the Union of Benefices Act of 1860 [7] and it was united with St Michael, Cornhill[8]. Proceeds from the sale helped to erect a new church at Friern Barnet[9]
