Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

Turpan of Tulupan is een Chinese stad (anno 2000 circa 252.000 inwoners, voornamelijk Oeigoeren), gelegen in de Turpanlaagte aan de voet van de Bogda Shan, in de autonome regio Sinkiang. Het diepste punt van de Turpanlaagte ligt op 154 meter onder de zeespiegel. Het is daarmee het laagste punt in China. Turpan ligt langs de noordelijke Zijderoute en is een belangrijke toeristische attractie die vooral bekend is vanwege druiven en ondergrondse kanalen, kanaat genoemd.
