Yıldıray Çınar (born 1976 in Ankara) is a Turkish comic book artist who has come to garner greater attention when he assumed the regular penciling chores on the American comic book Noble Causes.

Biography
Early career
Çınar was born in Turkey and finished Fine Arts and Graphics department of Anadolu Fine Arts High School located in Eskişehir in 1994 and studied in Cartoon animation up until 2000 at the Anadolu University. Although he worked in the field of animation for commercial films, his real creative interest was on comic book creation.
He helped create a photocopy-fanzine publishing group called Capa Comics group in 1997, to which he has continued to contribute up until today from time to time. Capa Comics group has established links with several bigger publishers today and both Yildiray and his colleagues have published their work in national magazines on several occasions, under common banners of Capa Comics group and the other publisher.
His important creations from this time include Sürgün, Maskeli, Karabasan and İman Limited.
Opening up overseas
Although remaining located in Istanbul, Çınar started producing for the American comic book market. He was first hooked up with Digital Webbing Press and illustrated stories of Nothingface and Fist of Justice which appeared in numerous issues of the anthology Digital Webbing Presents. He has also produced the art for a graphic novel published by Digital Webbing titled Nothingface.
His Image Comics work has started with a pin-up he draw for Savage Dragon in issue 118. Than he has illustrated a short story for Savage Dragon which was published in issue #126.
He has reached wider recognition when he started working regularly on an acclaimed ongoing title from Image the Noble Causes. He has started penciling the series with issue #27.[1]
After getting work at DC Comics, with a run on Teen Titans, it was announced that he would be the main artist on the sixth series of Legion of Super-Heroes with LSH veteran writer Paul Levitz.[2]
