The English word games are:

Lettris

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

boggle

Boggle gives you 3 minutes to find as many words (3 letters or more) as you can in a grid of 16 letters. You can also try the grid of 16 letters. Letters must be adjacent and longer words score better. See if you can get into the grid Hall of Fame !

Áine est, dans la mythologie celtique irlandaise, la déesse de l'amour et la fertilité.

Histoire

Elle était la fille d'Eogabail (le fils adoptif du dieu de la mer de Man (Manannan Mac Lir). En tant que déesse de l'amour entre les hommes. Ceci dit, il ne fallait pas abuser. Le roi Ailill Olom de Munster, qui fut un de ses amants, essaya de la violenter. Mal lui en prit vu qu'elle se servit de ses pouvoirs pour le tuer.

Lors d'une célébration en son honneur, des filles s'étaient attardées. Áine apparut et leur montra une colline dont les habitantes étaient des fées visibles uniquement quand on les regardaient à travers l'anneau magique d'Áine.

Culte

Déesse de la fertilité, son culte fut toujours lié aux agriculteurs. Elle commandait aux récoltes et annimaux. Pendant des siècles, on célévrait une fête en son honneur la veille de la Saint-Jean (jusqu'au XIXe siècle à Knockainy, le mont d'Áine dans le comté de Kerry).
