Lettris
Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

ÉTYMOLOGIE
Génev. branquier ; bourguig. braiqué ; d'après Diez, de l'ancien scandinave brâka, qui signifie affaiblir, mettre dessous ; le sens laisse du doute sur cette étymologie, et on ne saisit pas bien l'enchaînement entre mettre dessous et diriger. Il y a dans l'anglais brake qui signifie la poignée d'une pompe ; le mot aurait-il passé de la marine dans le langage militaire ? enfin, comme le mot est récent, faudrait-il y voir un verbe formé de braque, avec la signification de chercher, pointer ?
