Lettris

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

Le Wiktionnaire possède une entrée pour « faîne ».

La faîne ou faine est le fruit du hêtre. Du point de vue botanique, ce sont des akènes, qui sont répartis par deux dans des cupules recouverts de poils rigides.

Les faînes constituent un apport de nourriture pour les animaux des forêts : macrofaune (sangliers, chevreuils, cerfs...) ou microfaune (oiseaux (Mésange nonnette par exemple), rongeurs (muscardin, loir)...) peu avant l'hiver au moment de la glandée.

Consommation humaine : La faîne faisait partie de l'alimentation en Grèce antique. On la mangeait grillée. Les faînes contiennent 40% de matières grasses. Les faînes crues contiennent une grande quantité d'acide oxalique et du triméthylamine. Ce dernier composé est toxique si on le mange en grande quantité, mais le grillage des faînes en réduit la teneur.

Vertus médicinales :
On les fait bouillir comme des châtaignes ou on les broie pour en faire un beurre aux propriétés vermifuges ou parasiticides.
