Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

Terme populaire. Rejaillir en éclaboussant. Un maçon prenant de la chaux dans sa truelle et la faisant rejaillir de tous côtés en l'appliquant sur le mur la chaux a giclé. On dit aussi, quand une roue de voiture fait rejaillir de la boue en entrant dans une ornière, que la boue a giclé.
REMARQUE
On le trouve aussi écrit jicler.— F.... P... Le sang avait jiclé contre le mur, au-dessus du lit. - M. le Président : Qu'entendez-vous par ce mot de jicler ? - Le témoin : Je veux dire que le sang avait jailli violemment ; c'étaient des gouttes rondes et des gouttes en long (Gaz. des Trib. 17-18 mars 1873, p. 264, 3e col.)
ÉTYMOLOGIE
Provenç. giscle, pousse, jet ; gisclament, retentissement. Origine inconnue. Le giclet, nom d'une plante (voy. ce mot au Dictionnaire) y appartient. En basse Bourgogne on dit gigler.
