Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

Il y a lieu d'hésiter entre deux origines : ou bien l'on pensera que le pompon a été ainsi dit par assimilation à quelque courge (pompon en ce sens vient du latin pepo) ; ou bien qu'il est dérivé de pompe 1 : ce qui donne de la pompe, de la magnificence.— Et de fait on trouve dans un texte du XVe siècle pompete, ornement d'habit : La pompete de son pourpoint (DU CANGE pompeta.)
