Lettris
Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.

1. Racler le dessus des peaux dont on veut faire du parchemin. Ce sont les mégissiers qui travaillent le parchemin à la chaux, et les parcheminiers de Paris ne font que le raturer ; le fer à raturer est de la même forme que le fer à écharner dont se servent les mégissiers, Dict. des arts et métiers, Parcheminier.
2. Par extension, effacer au moyen de quelques traits de plume ce qui est écrit.

SYNONYME
RATURER, RAYER. Raturer emporte quelque chose de son sens primitif ; c'est passer sur le mot un trait qui empêche de le lire. Rayer, c'est simplement passer sur le mot une raie, une barre, qui peut le laisser lisible. Dans un acte on raye les mots qu'on veut supprimer, on ne les rature pas.
